Farm Business Planning Officer - Atherton
About Kasmin
Over the past 25 years, Kasmin has held various roles across the Tablelands, Cairns, and wider region with experience in:
agriculture extension and facilitation,
natural resource management,
business management and administration,
corporate and community governance,
financial planning and insurance,
project and team management,
coaching and facilitation,
community development, and
grant writing
These experiences give her a wide skill set and broad insights into the complexities that face individuals and businesses in regional Australia. This is combined with a fascination for human behaviour, which she has nurtured through learnings and certifications in strengths-based frameworks, emotional intelligence, resilience building, behaviour change, team culture and mental health awareness. She is a lifelong learner currently studying counselling….with the next courses in her sights.
Kasmin has a strong desire to help those around her, and in building supportive cultures and demonstrates this through consistent involvement in development programs, and voluntary roles in her community over the last 15 years. Kasmin is involved in farmer-led groups, extension networks, along with several community group committees, and enjoys being a ‘connector’ - linking people, ideas and programs across organisations to maximise impact.
